Attorney General Andy Beshear announced Wednesday, June 7, that he is demanding Governor Matt Bevin rescind a June 2 executive order dissolving and reorganizing numerous state education boards. Beshear said failure to do so would result in legal action by the Attorney General’s office challenging the move and that the governor cannot rewrite laws through executive orders.
