Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12’s Shelby Maintenance crew will install a cross drain on KY 1384, Hurricane Creek in Pikeville on Monday, June 12. The work site is between mile markers two and three, at Ousley Freewill Baptist Church. The road will be closed at the work site to all traffic from 9am until about 1pm. Motorists will have to detour to avoid the work zone during this time. The rest of KY 1384 will remain open. Superintendent Darvey Hamilton apologized for the temporary inconvenience, and thanks everyone for their patience and understanding.
