A Laurel County man was arrested on Saturday, June 10, following a domestic violence complaint. Deputy Daniel Grigsby responded to the residence off Lily Road and conducted an investigation. The victim had allegedly been punched in the mouth, causing visible bleeding. Travis Gilbert was charged with assault—fourth degree—domestic violence and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
