Motorists traveling on the Mountain Parkway west of Salyersville will follow a new traffic pattern starting next week as crews prepare for additional road construction. Beginning as early as Monday, June 19, both lanes of traffic will be moved from the existing parkway to two new lanes to the south of the existing parkway. These lanes will eventually serve eastbound traffic when the project is completed. Due to the lane switch, the KY 7 interchange eastbound ramps will reopen.
