Pavement rehabilitation on KY 160 in Knott County is scheduled to start Thursday, June 22. Traffic will be impacted from the intersection of KY 899 to the downtown traffic signal. Greeen said that motorists should be aware of their surroundings when traveling this section of highway, watch for milling and paving equipment, as well as workers along the roadway. Contractors plan to work from 7am until almost dark each day for several days, with work possibly continuing through next week to finish the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with the lane switching as work progresses.
