A community yard sale is set for Saturday, July 1, in the parking lot at Kentucky Highway District 12 headquarters on Loraine Street in Pikeville. As long as space is available, anyone can join the sale. The cost to participate is $10. All space fees are pledged to the Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign, the primate charity to which state government employees contribute through payroll deductions, events, and activities. Interested sellers should contact Tina Kirk, District 12’s KECC coordinator, no later than Thursday, June 29 with their name and contact number to reserve their space. The sale will be open to the public from 8am to 3pm.
