Governor Bevin Ceremonially Signs Enacted Legislation

On Tuesday, June 27, Governor Matt Bevin ceremonially signed recently enacted legislation at the State Capitol. Bills signed include House Bill 128, which would allow public schools to offer an elective social studies course on the Bible that teaches biblical content, character, poetry and narratives and their impact on today’s world. Also signed was Senate Bill 50, allowing school districts to use a “variable student instructional year” requiring the same amount of instructional hours but fewer days.
