On June 20, the Knox County Sheriff’s Department made an arrest at a residence on Decatur Road in Flat Lick. Deputy Sam Mullins attempted to serve two felony bench warrants at the residence to Bo McVey earlier in the day, but he had fled on foot to a wooded area. When additional officers arrived to assist, McVey attempted to flee again and was apprehended. Bo McVey, 31, of Flat Lick, was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property under $10,000 as the result of a burglary investigation. Additionally, he was charged with fleeing or evading police.
