Bevin Responds to Beshear’s Letter

On Thursday, Attorney General Andy Beshear sent a letter, the first in a series, to Governor Matt Bevin requesting his assistance with protecting Kentucky’s seniors from scams. His request was that the two send an email to all state employees to sign up for Scam Alerts. Governor Bevin replied to Beshear’s request with a letter requesting the Attorney General disclose information from about his role in the case with Purdue Pharma and that he issue a written statement that all qualified female public servants should be respected in the workplace without fear of sexist comments and practices from elected officials. Bevin added that his administration is always happy to work with elected officials for the interest of Kentucky.
