Laurel County Deputies responded to a complaint of a male subject physically assaulting his grandfather around 6pm July 3. Deputies located the subject at a residence off KY 1376 West. Anthony Ryan Thompson, 25, was found passed out on a porch swing. Through investigation, deputies learned he had allegedly assaulted in grandfather. Thompson was also found in possession of a concealed firearm and methamphetamine. He was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
