Gas line and water line work on KY 979, Mud Creek Road in Floyd County will reduce traffic to one lane from Monday, July 10 through Monday, July 24. Gas line work will be in front of Clear Creek Church and the Church of God of Prophecy. Water line work will be about 1100 feet up the road. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in the work zone from 7am until 7pm each day. The road will be open at night and on weekends with the use of steel plates. In the event of rain, the project will be extended.
