The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department is warning citizens to be on the lookout for suspicious bills in the areas. Counterfeit $20 dollar bills have been recovered from a local business and a gas station, according to investigating Deputy Landon Hall. The total amount recovered is $120, all $20 dollar bills. Deputy Hall said the color and texture of the bills was off, they were also marked with Asian characters. If you have anyone has any bills that they may be suspicious of, they are encouraged to contact the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department.
