On Tuesday, July 4, around 6:45pm, Knox County Deputies responded to Shupes Court off Highway 1527 at Bailey Switch in an attempt to locate Timothy Engle, who was wanted on a Kentucky Parole Board Warrant. Engle, 35, was found living in an outbuilding. He was observed by deputies sitting at a table with a syringe. When confronted, Engle jumped through a window and attempted to flee. After being apprehended, he threatened to kill the deputies. When placed in the cruiser, he told deputies he had an active meth lab in the building. While deputies searched for the lab, Engle slipped his handcuffs and attempted to flee again. He is facing multiple charges and was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
