Those traveling westbound on the Mountain Parkway to Winchester or Lexington can expect a change in schedule. The bridge at the I-64 interchange that was scheduled to reopen on Monday, July 10, has been delayed. According to KY Transportation Cabinet District 7, the closure has been extended until at least 6am Tuesday, July 11. Travelers can continue to use Exit 10 to KY 974 to KY 15 as a detour route. Eastbound traffic will not be impacted other than by existing lane closures.
