On Monday, July 10, around noon, a six year old girl was spotted alone crossing over a guardrail on Highway 119 near Bird Branch Road in Bell County. She was taken into custody by Probation and Parole Office Michelle Hensley for her safety and contacted Bell County Dispatch for assistance. The child’s grandparents, Tina Norris, 51, and Mark Norris, 54, came to the scene approximately 20 minutes after discovery of the girl. Tina Norris thought the girl was in her room and had not checked on her in 30 minutes. The two were arrested for outstanding warrants. The child was taken into custody by social services.
