A historic house on South Arnold Avenue, behind the Baptist church, was moved the morning of Saturday, July 15. Beau Spurlock, whose great grandparents built the structure in the 1910s, took on the move to preserve the home. Spurlock said the city has lost too many historic structures, which is what gives a town its character.
