The Hazard Police Department has received two reports of people receiving calls from someone claiming to work for the City of Hazard. The caller is telling people that their water service is going to be disconnected for non-payment. The caller then tries to get the victim to send them money. The City of Hazard does not call utility customers over non-payment. All correspondence will be sent by mail.
