The 26^th Annual Pioneer Life Week at Carter Caves State Resort Park will be held July 24 to 30. The weeklong event focuses on special programs that show life on the Kentucky frontier in the late 18^th and early 19^th centuries. Visitors can enjoy a step back in the pioneer camp near the Carter Caves campground registration building. Re-enactors will demonstrate skills that were needed for life on the frontier, Monday through Saturday, July 29 from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday, July 30 from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
