Floyd County Schools’ Academic Camp was held last week at Prestonsburg High School. The camp focused on content and strategies for academic team competitions in the areas of math, science, social studies, language arts, and arts and humanities. In addition, students learned quick recall tips and participated in scrimmages. Academic Camp consists of morning sessions for students in high school and afternoon sessions for students in 5^th through 8^th grades. Almost fifty students attended the day camp hosted by PHS.
