Three Arrested in Knox County

On Tuesday, August 1, Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst was on patrol in the Gray area of Knox County when he observed a male and female seated inside a vehicle parked in front of a residence on DR Parker Lane. The occupants said they were waiting on a friend to come out of the residence. When Robert Schipler, 33, of Corbin, exited the residence, he turned to flee but stopped when Deputy Ashurst commanded him to. Schipler was arrested for a Laurel County bench warrant on traffic violations. The male in the vehicle, Steven Graves, 35, was arrested for a Whitley county bench warrant. He, along with Ashley Reece, 32, was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
