Two Arrested for Fleeing Police in Harlan County

On Sunday, Harlan County Deputy Mark Saylor observed a vehicle operated by Malachi Hodge while on patrol. Hodge, 28, was wanted on felony warrants for fleeing deputies and trafficking methamphetamine. He attempted to flee Deputy Saylor was throwing contraband out the window of the vehicle. He was apprehended after turning onto an old mine road. His passenger, Misty Williams, 34, was later arrested after fleeing on foot. Both were arrested and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
