Two were arrested in Laurel County on Monday, August 7, as part of an ongoing identity theft investigation. The arrests occurred in London after detectives and deputies learned two individuals had allegedly used a computer to change information and steal the identity of a victim and transfer $7500 into their account. Neither individual had permission from the victim to access the funds. Dustin Dewayne Lewis, 21, and Destiny Bullard, 20, both of Corbin, were charged with identity theft and unlawful taking under $10,000. More arrested are expected.
