Laurel County Deputies arrested a man following a welfare check at St. Joseph Hospital on Monday, August 7. Bradley Austin Morris was being treated following an alleged assault when he ripped off his neck brace and created a disturbance in and around the hospital. When deputies conducted a welfare check, Morris was found hiding behind a church off Parker Road where he continued to flee from officers. After being apprehended, he was taken back to St. Joseph Hospital where he was treated and released. Morris was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
