Laurel County Deputies made an arrest off East Cumberland Gap Parkway following a disturbance complaint the afternoon of Saturday, August 12. A traffic stop was conducted on a black Chevrolet Trailblazer that had been reported stolen. An investigation of the vehicle determined the driver, Joseph Wagner, 29, of Corbin, was under the influence. Additionally, the suspect was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and several small baggies. Wagner was charged with public intoxication, theft, possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.
