On August 11, Knox County Deputy John Luttrell received a reckless driver complaint involving a tractor trailer on US 25E. Deputy Luttrell located and stopped the tractor trailer on US 25E in Barbourville. After detecting a strong odor of alcohol on the driver and conducting a field sobriety test, Deputy Luttrell arrested John Upson, age 58, of Kings Mountain, KY, charging him with DUI and open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
