The Bell County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that they have received calls from citizens stating they have been contacted by someone claiming to represent Kentucky Utilities billing. The caller states that their service man contacted them about service at a location being disconnected. The caller went on to state they are giving the would-be victim the chance to pay the delinquent bill.
