Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint of an intoxicated man refusing to leave a business property on Thursday, August 17. When deputies arrived at the scene and located the subject, Billy Ray Moore, 53, of London, he was walking along Cherry Avenue. An investigation determined he was under the influence. Moore was charged with public intoxication and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
