On Wednesday, August 23, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence of Nathan Massingale located on Sand Branch Road in Wallins. The search warrant was a result of an investigation following numerous complaints relating to methamphetamine and other narcotics. Upon execution of the search warrant, a firearm, a small quantity of drugs and $453 cash was seized. Nathan Massingale, 36, was charged with Possession of Handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana trafficking. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center and additional drug charges are pending.
