On August 25, around 3pm, Johnson County Dispatch received a call of two male subjects in a black truck attempting to hook a strap to another truck, to possibly steal it, on private property on KY 1092. Deputy Byron Fairchild responded to the scene and caught the individuals in the act. The deputy recognized the individuals as Justin Combs and Daniel Bell Jr., who both had active warrants for arrest. While Deputy Fairchild placed Combs in the cruiser, Bell fled into the woods.
