Johnson County Woman Arrested for Drug Possession and Intoxication Following Complaint

The evening of August 26, 2017, Johnson County deputies responded to a call of a female high on methamphetamine and making threats toward her mother at a residence on KY RT 201. Upon arrival, deputies located the woman, identified as Karen Rose Witten Lackey, on the front porch arguing with her brother. Lackey was observed as having slurred speech and appeared to be off balance. When asked if she had anything illegal on her person, she responded that she had a meth pipe and handed deputies a baggie of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine. Lackey was arrested and charged with possessed of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.
