Perry County Deputy Receives Governor’s Occupant Protection Award

On Tuesday, August 29, Perry County Deputy Sheriff Kevin Day received the Governor’s Occupant Protection Award for the Perry County Sheriff Department. The award is given by the Kentucky Department of Highway Safety to the Deputy Sheriff or Police Officer that writes the most seatbelt, booster seat, and child restraint tickets at his or her agency for the year.
