Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle serious injury traffic crash that occurred on Byrley Road on Monday, August 28, around 10:45pm. The investigating deputies report that a silver colored Toyota Celica was driving on Byrley Road when the driver apparently ran off the left side of the road, traveling out of control, and overturning, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was identified as 21-year-old Nicole Mayne of Rockhold. She was treated at the scene before being transported to Baptist Healthcare and transferred to UK Medical Center with serious injuries.
