Partners from Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC), Southeast Community and Technical College (SKCTC) and Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC) met to discuss the forthcoming implementation of the Eastern Kentucky Coal County Transformation Grant (EKCCT) on Tuesday August 22^nd at the Mayo Campus of BSCTC. The mission of this grant is to provide in-hand career opportunities through an accelerated training model along with industry led internships. This transformative pathway will allow career seekers to seize real-time opportunities with seasoned companies both locally and globally.
