On Sunday, September 10, 2017 at approximately 5:50pm, the Kentucky State Police in Morehead was contacted by a resident on KY 801, near the Sharkey Community in Rowan County.  The resident stated he had located someone inside a vacant residence in which he owned.  Troopers responded to the area and when the suspect saw the Troopers arriving, he left the residence in his vehicle.  A traffic stop was initiated and the suspect was subsequently arrested.  The stolen items were recovered at the scene.  The suspect was identified as Daniel R. Austin, age 27 of Owingsville, Kentucky  Mr. Austin was lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center and charged with Burglary 3^rd and two (2) counts of Wanton Endangerment 1^st.
