Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Highway District 12 maintenance specialists plan to replace two cross drains in Martin County beginning Wednesday, September 13. Replacement of a drain on KY 1884 between mile points one and two will take place Wednesday, with a replacement on KY 1439 scheduled for Thursday, September 14. The work will start around 8am after school buses have finished their morning run, and be finished by 3pm. Each road will be closed between 8am and 3pm as pavement must be removed to replace the drains.
