U.S. Representative Hal Rogers has announced that Robert Lightfoot, Jr, acting administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, or NASA, will join him and Morehead State University President Dr. Jay Morgan on Wednesday, September 20 to visit MSU’s Space Science program and learn about the growing aerospace industry in Morehead and across Eastern Kentucky. Lightfoot and Rogers will address students, local leaders and the general public at noon at the Morehead Conference Center. The event is free and open to the public. Congressman Rogers said Kentucky’s aerospace industry is leading the nation and that Morehead State University is on the forefront of space science education and engineering. He added Administrator Lightfoot will provide his insight on how to attract more opportunities to Eastern Kentucky.
