A Breathitt County man died the late evening of Thursday, September 14, following a single vehicle collision. Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the crash on HWY 1110 in the Whick Community of Breathitt County. The initial investigation determined that David Roberts, 56 of Lost Creek, was traveling west on KY 1110 when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the eastbound lane and continued off the roadway where he collided with a tree. Roberts was pronounced deceased at the scene by Breathitt County coroner George Griffith.
