Wednesday, September 20 is State High Attendance Day in Kentucky. On High Attendance Day, elementary, middle or high schools compete in small school or large school categories and awards are determined statewide based on each individual school’s performance. The school in each category with the highest percentage attendance for that day will be awarded $500. For elementary and middle schools who tie on the day of competition, ties are broken by attendance on the previous day.
