On Friday, September 15, at approximately 11:26 am, two individuals were arrested for shoplifting at a Laurel County Walmart. Misty Lynn Vaughn, 20, and Blake Vaughn, 25, were detained by Walmart’s loss prevention team. Laurel County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Greg Poynter arrived at the scene and conducted his investigation, it was determined the two were detained for removing unpaid merchandise from the store. Both were charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500 and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
