A UK fan’s sign has caused a stir with its insensitive message to Florida in anticipation of the September 23 football game. A photo of the sign was shared on Twitter. The sign reads “If Hurricane Irma didn’t [mess] you up, Cats will.” A Florida fan going by Christaan Barrette shared the photo on Twitter with Florida defensive back Chauncey Gardner Jr. and Coach Jim McElwain with the hashtag #shutthemup. The identity of the UK fan who created the sign is not known at this time.
