On Tuesday, September 19, Harlan County Deputy Dakota Torstrick attempted to stop a vehicle while patrolling the Coldiron community. Upon activation of emergency equipment, the vehicle attempted to flee and drive in a reckless manner. A short pursuit occurred before the vehicle was stopped on US 119. Nathanial Hollin, 19, of Gray, was arrested and charged with fleeing police, speeding, reckless driving, no driver’s license and other traffic violations. Further investigation determined the vehicle had been stolen from a car lot in Knox County. Hollin was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
