The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce held its annual golf outing on September 15, 2017 at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg. The team of Tim Miller, Tim Hall, Nelson Hall, and Timothy Miller from the AEP-Kentucky Power team placed first with a score of 53. The Redd, Brown and Williams team of Tommy Hall, Michael Fannin, Johnny Ray Turner, and John Tackett came in second with a score of 55. Jamie Hylton, Toby Newsome, Lance Jones, and Justin Bartley  with Hylton Homes took home third place honors. Kathy King Allen, executive director of the Floyd County Chamber of Commerce, said the chamber appreciated the support from sponsors and the community and look forward to working with everyone throughout the year.
