On Friday, September 22, around 10am, Knox County Deputy Claude Hudson was contacted by Probation and Parole Officers conducting a home visit at the residence of David Caldwell on Highway 1629 in Corbin. Several syringes and suspected methamphetamine were found at the residence. Deputy Hudson’s investigation at the scene also uncovered several used meth pipes, scales, and over $130 in cash. Caldwell, 45, was charged with possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia. A female was also arrested at the residence. After the female was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center, she was discovered to have given the deputy the name, date of birth, and social security number of her sister. She was identified as Melissa Adams and additionally charged with identity theft.
