On Tuesday, September 26, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest as a result of an undercover drug investigation by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives. Amanda Wilson Gooden, 39, of Baxter, was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in controlled. Gooden sold methamphetamine to a Sheriff’s Office confidential information on two occasions in August. She was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
