On Wednesday, September 27, around 2:40am, Knox County Deputies responded to a complaint of two subjects drinking and going in and out of the Christian Church in Artemus. When deputies arrived, they observed two men come out of a side door of the Fellowship Hall. Both men smelled of alcohol, and several empty liquor bottles were observed on the outside steps. Seth Patrick Evans, 21, and Austin Dewayne Hensley, 22, were arrested and charged with public intoxication. Hensley was also found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Both were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
