Family and friends gathered at Big Sandy Community and Technical college to pay respects and share memories of the late Timothy Sizemore, a longtime art faculty member at the college. Sizemore was born in Miami, Florida before moving to Kentucky. He began teaching at BSCTC in 1999, when it was still known as Prestonsburg Community College. In an August 2016 interview with John Haywood, Sizemore said art was how he expressed himself and turning his feelings into paintings. He will be missed by his friends, family, and many in the BSCTC community.
