Reward Offered for Information in Death of Johnson County Dog

A reward is being offered for information on the death of a dog in Johnson County. A stray dog, known as Dollar Dog, often seen at the Staffordsville Dollar General was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday, October 1, between 6:30 and 8:30pm. Some residents of the area said they saw a pile of dog food on the center line of the road, indicating that the dog was lured into traffic and the act may have been intentional. Community members are offering a reward of $850 to find the person or persons responsible.
