On Thursday, October 5, around 8am, the Knox county Sheriff’s Office received information that the fugitive Jimmy Davis, 50, was inside a residence on Hollow Creek Road in Flat Lick. Davis was wanted on a Fugitive Warrant from Gwinnet County Georgia. Information indicated the fugitive was armed an dangerous. Following surveillance of the residence, Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith and deputies entered the residence and arrested Davis with incident around 9:30am. Inside the home, deputies recovered a large quantity of crystal meth packaged for sale, three firearms, drug paraphernalia, and over $1300 in cash. The owner of the residence, Donald Murray, 43, and Danielle Gibson, 32, were also arrested, and a five-year-old child was taken into custody by Social Services.
