As paving begins today on KY 611 in Pike County, motorists are being advised of long delays. Vince Hayes, of the Highway District 12 Pikeville Section Office, said long delays are expected due to the narrow width of the roadway and large paving equipment being used. The project will begin around 7am from mile point 0 at Lookout School to Poor Bottom at mile point 3.26. It is recommended that drivers take alternate routes to avoid this area.
