Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Janet Stumbo has given her resignation, which will go into effect at the end of the year. According to her husband, attorney Ned Pillersdorf, several factors went into Stumbo’s decision, including a desire to help former clients of Eric C. Conn who lost their Social Security benefits. Stumbo has served as a Court of Appeals judge since first being elected in 1989.
